http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ds/dsi.html it has a camera, it can play mp3s (with visualization) and it has larger screens   specs  - No GBA Slot - SD Slot - Internal storage space - Two built-in cameras (3MP & 0.3MP) - Music player (seems like a built-in Play-Yan) - Bigger screens - Slightly thinner than the DS Lite - Just ONE Touch Screen (Same as DS/Lite) - Built in web browser - "DS Ware" to be available for purchase (including free apps/games like the Apple App store) - Will be available in Japan on November 1st for $179.99 - A new firmware and DS Channel/App interface - Mii support on DS Edited by Zero Enix, Oct 8 2008, 06:22 PM.

Why I'd buy this; - Digital Camera Hey, it beats phones, but there must be SOME way to upload them. -Larger screens Sure, The bigger they are, the better. - "Cameras" Alright, cool. Facial expressions and such. - Built in Web browser Now that's something worth getting, especially since it's becoming the PSP. I prefer to play Advance Wars on it. Why I Wouldn't buy this; - Thinness Come on people, it's thin enough, we're not trying to make it anorexic here. - Mii Support No need. Simple as that. - DS Ware Great... Another Xbox Live Marketplace.. - No GBA slot Ok, this really peeved me. I really enjoyed playing the oldies like Fire Emblem and Megaman on my DS. Now that's gone. What the heck? |

I bet 3 months after this comes out. One of the companies like EZ Flash that makes the memory card for the DS will make a new one that allows GBA games to be played on it for those who want it. The GBA bios and emulator is so small that it can be fit anywhere. Thats why they have one on the ipod. I'm glad they are going to make a SD slot for this. Its officially pushing the PSP out of the picture. I love my psp but if this can prove to do everything the psp does and still have a better game selection then its over for Sony. |

Don't care for it. I'm waiting for this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandora_(console) I love my PSP, but this will crush both handhelds since it will allow emulation without having to homebrew anything and risk bricking your system. Looks cool, but in my opinion all this features should have been there on the first ds ever made, like, you cant expect that I just toss my DS lite away just to get a DS with camera, If I didnt already have lite, DSi could have been the one. Hope they really make a difference with the next thing they come up with
