What are some popular themes you've noticed in anime? While watching Code Geass and Innocent Venus I noticed this common theme of Japan getting taken over and the military just suddenly kills everyone and there are terrorist groups that have powerful weapons and such. I want to know why this is a popular theme. Also I noticed that they tended to have Japan's name changed to Britannia or Area <Insert Number Here>. |

Area 11. And the japanese are called Elevens while Britannia is basically the rest of the world. I have my own opinion on why this is such an amazing theme. Code Geass R2 is how u see how a rebellion starts again after a year. Its just to show that any country in this world if they wanted to could take over. |

A very popular theme is the unrealistic women in anime. Its obvious that practically no Japanese woman can even look like the girl's in the anime. The only anime that shows what a real women looks like is Open Drive which has a girl with a chubby stomach. |
