I'm getting a new monitor as the topic title suggests. I will have a wide screen LCD monitor 1280x800 my current monitor is 1024x768, which means I'll finally be able to watch anime without it being letter boxed not to mention I'll finally be done with using a CRT monitor. My current blurry monitor will most likely get chunked into a closet it seems to be blurring things in a southwest to northeast direction as of right now I can see the periods in my sentences and they look like little versions of the forward slash key like this / just tinier. I wondered if it was my video card knowing how I like to play massive games with very high detail graphics. I thought it might be dieing but I realized it has to be my screen given that if it is turned off for any amount of time the blurriness seems to clear up and vice versa it gets worse the longer it is left running. When I get the new LCD screen I'll be able to finish up The King of Fashion's Signature, until then my screen has become far to blurry too work on or complete any new tasks even typing is hard because now I have to type looking at the keyboard instead of the screen. |

hooray for new screens finally your moving into the LCD stage. No more blurry no more damaged eyes. I think what you said was true. Your games may have been to much for the monitor. CRT monitors can't handle the new graphic cards. |
